An effective school facility is responsive to the changing programs of educational delivery & providing them a physical environment that is comfortable, safe, secure, accessible, well illuminated, well ventilated & aesthetically pleasing.

Keeping this in mind, the facilities which we provide is much more than a passive container of the educational process. Hence we have a well equipped range of facilities & resources to help our students achieve a well rounded education in a child friendly atmosphere.

1. Library

The school has a well stocked library with more than 5800 books to its credit, catering to all age groups covering fiction and non-fiction, resource, reference books & magazines.
These books have been selected carefully based on the informative & educational value. Our rich collection of books is updated regularly and children are encouraged to make full use of these facilities in order to foster a healthy reading habit and satiate their inquisitive mind.

2. Computer Lab

In today’s world, it is imperative that we arm the 21st century learner with an understanding of computer and their associated skills. Hence the faculty members make continuous efforts to ensure the students get expertise in practical implementation of tools they have in their curriculum to help them navigate a rapidly changing technology driven world. Our computer lab is equipped with 35 computers assuring one on one access and it is open to all students from grade 1 – 10.

3. Science Laboratories

To meet the requirements of the curriculum, the school has well equipped Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories for the purpose of enhancing practical applications, demonstrations & experimentation.

4. Playground

The school playground experience is an inevitable part of the school life. Along with academics, physical fitness is also given importance. Hence we have a spacious synthetic playground that spans more than an acre for our children to enjoy. The ground is a perfect setting for both play & rest in the shade of trees.

5. Indoor Games Room

Physical fitness & mental development go hand in hand. Hence to nourish and flourish the mental and physical strength of students, the school has facility for indoor games too. Presently the school has 2 table tennis tables, a foosball table, a carrom board and a chess board.

6. Auditorium

The school has a large auditorium - The Betsy Chacko Memorial Hall named after our founder. The hall can seat approximately 500 people and is used for all major school functions. The hall possesses a raised stage special lighting & boasts of good acoustical design.

7. Counseling and Guidance services

Recognizing and understanding the challenges posed by the present generation, the school has a full time Counselor to offer Counseling and guidance services for its students. The students are encouraged to avail the same to cope with the pressures and issues of growing up and a variety of other issues like developmental, psychological, social and educational issues. The Counselor also regularly conducts different sessions dealing with issues pertinent to the various age groups. Staff orientation sessions, workshops and counseling sessions are regularly conducted to assist in their professional and personal development that eventually translates to better handling of the students under their care.

8. Health care unit

Keeping in mind, the health and safety of the children, the school has a health care unit manned by a full time doctor. The doctor takes care of all minor health needs that arise during school hours. Routine first aid is also administered in case of any injury in the school or during emergencies.

9. Subscription to newspapers and magazines

To develop in our students ‘a nose for news’ and to keep them well informed and aware of the events happening across every nook and corner of the world and to generate discussions, grade 5 and above receive student edition of newspapers on a daily basis. Grade 3 upwards also receives a magazine that focuses on moral values presented in a comic format to ensure higher readership.

10. Safety Measures

Our children are precious to us. As a result, we take their safety and security very seriously. Hence besides security guards at the gate, we also have floor supervisors on each floor on the corridors and a security guard near the KG section during their school times as well.

We have 35 CCTV cameras placed in various locations of the school and a staff member to monitor the activity during school hours. There are fire extinguishers on every floor and the staff have been trained on how to use them in case of an emergency. Both the CCTV cameras and the fire extinguishers are maintained to see they are always in working condition.

A Child Protection Committee has been in place now for over two years and any matter that is of concern with regard to child safety is referred to the Committee for redressal. A School Safety Committee is also in place to check on the safety aspects to be monitored on a regular basis.

Parents are issued ID cards that must be presented to pick up their young ones. All the staff are asked for police verification and their background is checked before employing them in our service.
